Srinagar, Oct 22 (KNO): The residents of Al-Kareem Colony, Humhama, have expressed their profound gratitude to the top officials of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) for the exceptionally swift and efficient completion of essential drainage and road macadamisation works in their area. In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the residents of Al-Kareem Colony Humhama, said that they are grateful to City Municipal Commissioner Srinagar, Dr. Fazl Ul Haseeb and his dedicated team particularly Shabir Ahmad, Joint Commissioner, Planning, Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, Executive Engineer, City Works Division SMC and Sajad Kawoosa, SE Drainage for their focused efforts. “The expeditious manner in which the drainage system was upgraded and the road macadamisation was completed is really laudable. This proactive approach and rapid execution set a commendable example of effective civic governance,” said the resident of the Al-Kareem Colony. They also said that completion of these works in a remarkably short timeframe has resolved long-standing issues related to water logging and poor road conditions.
